Cosmic Age Again isn't built by a company, a team, or a marketing budget. It's the work of one person who loves space — built in spare time, sustained by curiosity, and increasingly, by the support of people like you.
Why this site exists
It started with a lifelong fascination with astronomy: staring at the night sky, following NASA missions, reading about orbital mechanics just for the joy of understanding it. At some point, that curiosity turned into a simple question — how old would I be on Mars? What phase was the Moon in the day I was born? That's where Cosmic Age Again came from: a way to turn real astronomical data into something personal, tangible, and hopefully memorable.
The goal was never just to build tools that get shared once and forgotten. It's to spread that same curiosity — to have someone use a calculator, get surprised by a real fact, and end up reading a full article about why the Moon looks the way it does, or why Neptune takes 165 years to complete a single orbit. If even one person — especially a young person — falls a little more in love with space and science because of this site, the project has already done its job.
Who's behind it
One person, with a STEM background but no degree in astronomy, physics, or math. There are no investors, no content team, no office. Every calculation, every article, and every line of code on this site passes through the hands of one person who spends their free time on it because they care, not because it's their day job.
How it's funded today
The site runs on light advertising (Google AdSense) and voluntary donations through Ko-fi. No tool here is, or ever will be, locked behind a paywall — everything you see is and will remain free. But keeping a site like this alive costs real time: researching each fact so it's accurate, verifying every calculation with actual code instead of estimating it, writing content in two languages, and continuing to build new tools.
What your support makes possible
Every donation, no matter how small, translates directly into time: time to research and verify a fact instead of approximating it, time to write a genuinely thorough article instead of a thin one, time to build the next tool instead of only maintaining the ones that already exist. It also helps the site rely less on aggressive advertising — the more people support directly, the less need there is to fill the page with ads.
